Episode 21 | Overcoming Pornography Addiction…resources and more

The audience has spoken and we have listened! Two weeks ago Tessa opened up and shared her testimony about her addiction to pornography and masturbation and in doing so the response we received was overwhelming! Like her… So many came forward sharing similar stories regarding childhood trauma, exposure to pornography, and more. And many asked questions about additional resources. So we wanted to make an episode dedicated to that, as well as, dive more deeply into how Tessa’s healing through all this brought her so much closer with the Lord. Episode 20 | Open the Bible

The Bible. It's so stinking overwhelming, hard to understand, and hard to believe! Where the heck to do I start? Rebekah and her husband Nate recorded this episode this summer in case we needed a backup and sure enough, our audio file for the original episode 20 was corrupt. So it's time for the emergency episode. Rebekah and Nate go into where to start when you finally decide to open up the Bible, and some tips on how to actually start studying.

The podcast ladies get real and share their view on finances, powerful testimonies, and discuss how to steward money well on this earth. Society tells us to not talk about money publicly, but we disagree. We’re going there and hope this HONEST conversation encourages you today!

An example of what peace looks like in the midst of life’s scariest storms. From battling cancer at age 21, to enduring infertility, it’s been continuous hardship after hardship, yet overwhelming triumph in her short life. Macy sits with the Honest to Goodness podcast ladies and walks us through her journey. She explains who God was to her before life started life-ing and who He is to her now. If you cringed a bit, just imagine how uncomfortable Tessa and Nicole were discussing this “hidden” topic in Christianity. Haha The ladies discuss what their experiences have been with external beauty and how our looks can be detrimental to us and our relationship with Jesus, OR how they can be used to point people to Christ. As believers, modesty and humility are two themes stressed to us as women, but what does that look like in 2024? Is being “extra” okay? What lies surrounding vanity do we need to break off? Episode 14 | Social Media

Nicole did something she has never done before… She disconnected from social media for an extended period of time. Shocker, we know! After spending the last 5 years growing an e-commerce business, the Lord kept nudging her to “logout” and find real rest in Him. What did that look like? What did she learn? Was did she miss? Today, she and the girls discuss their relationships with social media-how they’ve fallen into the toxicity, but also how they’ve used their platforms to be mouthpieces for the Lord.
